Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of techinterview.coach, a marketplace connecting people preparing for tech interviews (“coachees”) with independent coaches. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1 · The service
We provide the platform: matching, messaging, booking and payment processing. Coaches are independent providers, not our employees, the coaching agreement is between you and the coach. We don’t guarantee interview outcomes.
2 · Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure and use the platform only for its intended purpose. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent payments, or harass other users.
3 · Payments & payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. For one-off sessions, funds are held until the session is delivered and confirmed (or auto-released after a grace period); subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled any time, taking effect at the end of the paid period. The platform retains a commission on each transaction. Refund and dispute requests are handled case by case, contact us.
4 · Coach obligations
Coaches must accurately represent their experience, deliver booked sessions professionally, and may not move platform-originated clients off-platform to avoid fees.
5 · Content
You retain rights to the content you submit (profile, messages, reviews, CV). You grant us the licence needed to operate the service, e.g. showing your profile to potential clients or your review on a coach’s page. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences.
6 · Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid through the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7 · Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
